Open and Honest Communication

Starting conversations with a trained counsellor is like most things in life; the first step is the hardest. If you’re ready to make changes in your life or are simply looking to get to know yourself better, then there’s no better time than now to begin the conversation.

I offer a combination of Gestalt and Humanistic counselling, provided through online sessions to overcome obstacles like busy calendars and distance. This allows me to support people all across the UK, providing them with the space and support they need to feel their best selves.

To start the conversation, simply contact me with some details, or book a free 30 minute introduction call where we can plan a path forward, together.

Finding a good fit

The free consultation is a chance for us to decide whether we work well together. If for some reason you feel like we’re not the right fit, I will never be offended. Counselling is very personal and it’s important that you find the right person who suits you. Think of this as meeting a new person; you normally know whether you like them and feel comfortable around them quite quickly.

If you decide it’s not for you, I’ll provide other counsellors who may suit you better, as well as some links to resources that may help support you in the meantime.

Professional Accreditation

A reputable counsellor will be Qualified, Registered and Insured.

To know that your counsellor or psychotherapist is fit to work with you, they will hold a qualification that allows them to register with a professional body.

The professional body has strict guidelines and requirements, that are reviewed every year. They also provide a strict ethics code and complaints procedures, along with enabling your counsellor to be insured. Your counsellor must have a substantial level of training and experience to be accepted by the professional body.

If you are in training to become a counsellor, I offer a reduced rate due to your course requirements. Please mention this during the initial consultation and any course paperwork you will need.
